The 12 years that Susan has been with the firm tell the story of Plancorp's commitment to serving the unique needs of our clients in new ways. Joining the team in 2011 with decades of experience in the ERISA space helping business owners design and manage their qualified retirement plans, she immediately established a new division as the Director of Retirement Plan Advisors, growing our ability to help our business owner clients navigate their business finances as well as their personal plans.
After several years growing the Retirement Plan Advisor service to a national presence through helping employers merge retirement plans and tackle complex compliance issues, she joined the Plancorp Leadership Team and became an owner in 2014. A nationally recognized leader in the industry, her technical knowledge runs deep as does her commitment to providing an incredible client experience, culminating in a promotion to become the first Chief Client Experience Officer at Plancorp in 2017, formalizing her focus on enhancing the prospect and client experience across the firm.
As Plancorp continues to grow and serve more clients, Susan most recently became our first Chief Growth Officer in 2023, a move which allows her to focus on leading Plancorp's strategic growth plan and unique Business Solutions that elevate business owners today while planning for tomorrow. From our strategic Financial Wellness partnership to business succession planning services, Susan is a vital leader helping create a growth plan that allows us to evolve with the needs of our clients and the changing times while staying true to our core value of always doing what is right for our clients.
Avidly involved in our community, when not at work you will find Susan staying close to her children as they embark on their own adventures or participating as a volunteer or board member within organizations like Lydia's House or the St. Louis Forum. A true people person, she loves to connect with friends or family over dinner at a new restaurant or on a trip to a new city.
