Tom's professional background includes work in the mergers and acquisitions business, where he assisted business owners in the buying and selling of small to mid-size companies. Prior to that, Tom was a General Partner at Edward Jones where he worked in the areas of training and branch administration. In addition to his work in the private sector, Tom previously taught financial planning and investment management courses at number of local Universities. He puts his financial skills to work as the Treasurer of Thomas Jefferson School and member of the Finance committee at Churchill Center and School.

Tom lives in Glendale with his wife Trish and their two children, Andy and Annie. When he is not busy trying to keep up with his two children, he enjoys a relaxing bike ride.
