Put Your Stimulus Check Into Your Emergency Fund

Daniel Lee, senior wealth manager at Plancorp, said to put any recent windfalls — including your stimulus check if you received one — into your emergency fund.

“Use your tax refund, cash bonus or your rebate check from the CARES Act to build your emergency fund faster,” he said.
