We set out on a mission to do two critical things while celebrating 40th years in business: share the philosophy and stories that have contributed to our success over decades and chart a course for where we expect to go in the coming years.
From launching a timeline documenting the milestones and innovations that have made Plancorp what it is today to celebrating the team’s place as thought leaders with features in St. Louis Magazine and The Scout Guide St. Louis, we wanted to make sure we also celebrated the reason this is all possible: our clients.
More than 300 people joined us at the Union Station Grand Hall in downtown St. Louis on October 20, 2023. A brief cocktail hour was followed by a seated dinner, brief presentation and even a light show! Enjoy a few photos from the event below, along with the video we watched together.
One thing that became clear as we told the Plancorp story was how innovative the firm has been since our inception. In a landscape dominated by big brokers, a lax definition of fiduciary, and investments that could be deemed closer to gambling, an independent, fee-only approach was a breath of fresh air.
