About Me
Dawn Torres-Gale is a Financial Wellness Advisor at Plancorp. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Accredited Financial Counselor® designations
In 2018 she received a military spouse scholarship to the CFP® and ChFC® education program at the American College of Financial Services in Pennsylvania. She passed the CFP® exam in 2022. Prior to coming to Plancorp, Ms. Torres-Gale worked as an Associate Financial Planner at RIAs in Western Massachusetts and Washington State. Dawn also has 10 years of experience as a Personal Financial Counselor working with military Reserve and Guard units. In 2018 she spent three months providing financial education and counseling services to soldiers stationed at US Army Garrison Wiesbaden in Germany.
Ms. Torres-Gale has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. Ms. Torres-Gale has volunteered as a Tax Preparer with Oregon’s VITA tax program, as a volunteer district court mediator in Hawaii and as an elected member of the Wachusett Regional School Committee representing the Town of Holden, Massachusetts. She is the spouse of LCDR Christopher A. Gale, USCG (Ret.) with three adult daughters and two grandchildren.
