Yezmin Thomas

Yezmin Thomas is a Financial Wellness Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ working one-on-one with clients every day in a fiduciary capacity. She enjoys understanding her client’s goals and dreams and helping them craft a path to achieving their own definition of financial independence.

Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Yezmin worked in broadcast media and became a multiple Regional Emmy Award-Winning investigative and personal finance journalist. Her work on financial and securities crimes exposed many cases of individuals that were falling victims of fraud.

Seeing the dreams of many families shattered due to lack of financial literacy motivated Yezmin to become a financial educator, coach, and financial wellness advisor. Her expertise in multimedia production and drive to empower others led her to create a bilingual online platform to teach people to manage their money with confidence.

Yezmin has worked with hundreds of clients one-on-one, helping them diagnose the current state of their finances, and guiding them in creating custom plans for achieving their personal and financial goals. She is also bilingual (English/Spanish) and a designated Ramsey Solutions Master Financial Coach.

When she is not at work, Yezmin enjoys taking long walks, meditating, journaling, reading, and gardening. Spending quality time with her family and traveling are also among her passions, as well as visiting her native Mexico.

Thomas' work in financial education has been recognized with 11 regional Emmy Awards granted by the National Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences and multiple other prestigious awards.
