Steven N. Frank

J.D., AIF®

Vice Chairman

Biography

Steve likes to say he is a “businessman with a law degree.” After working with both family businesses and publicly traded companies—including Anheuser-Busch, Boeing and McDonnell Douglas Corporation—he joined Plancorp in 1998. Since then, he’s served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and, now, Vice Chairman of the firm.

Business and law aren’t Steve’s only passions. After being named All American in soccer at his alma mater, St. Louis University (SLU), Steve played professionally with the St. Louis Stars and for the U.S. World Cup Soccer Team. Now in the SLU and St. Louis Soccer halls of fame, he even faced the legendary Pelé.

Steve is active in the community and currently serves as Chairman of St. Louis Regional Media (The Nine Network). He is also a Director of Jefferson County Bancshares, Inc., the parent of Eagle Bank and Trust Company, and a board member of ArchCity Defenders, a non-profit civil rights law firm committed to social justice.

Although he doesn’t spend as much time on the soccer field these days, Steve still gets his exercise running around after his four young grandsons.
